As a Senior Accountant, you will collaborate with the accounting team and oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities. With your expertise and strategic thinking, you will ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial statements and provide valuable insights to support business decisions.

Directly reports to the: Head of Accounting

WHAT will be your responsibilities:

• Bookkeeping of incoming and outgoing invoices cost to import and export documentation
• Up-to-date posting of goods bookkeeping, registration of goods, import calculations, inventory, cost price calculation
• Bookkeeping of records of all business transactions
• Calculation of VAT and submission of VAT applications
• Keeping records of fixed assets
• Checking the accuracy of received documentation
• Assisting in the preparation of official financial statements and audits
• Adequate tax knowledge and monitoring of all changes in the tax system
• Posting and controlling General ledger accounts and reconciliation with Sub ledgers
• Active cooperation and participation in the preparation of the company closing accounts
• Active involvement in the preparation of data and documentation for audit purposes and full communication with the auditors
• Keeping financial records in internal financial system (ERP)
• Other general accounting duties as assigned

WHAT do we expect from you:

• At least 10 years of working experience in an accounting department
• Willingness to share knowledge to other team members
• BA in Economics/Accounting
• Experience in working with international companies
• Knowledge of working in ERP
• Knowledge of IFRS standards
• Verbal and written English language proficiency
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel
• Well-organized, punctual, and analytical team player
